Our Heritage
For 45 Years, Allan's Violins has been offering music lovers as well as professional musicians access to high-quality instruments and service. We provide sales, rentals and quality services for violins, violas, cellos, and basses.
With Studios in London and Ancaster/Hamilton Ontario, Allan and his family team specialize in providing high quality violins from Europe and Asia, tailored for performance, competitions and examinations. He customizes every violin with quality parts, adjusting for tone, warmth of sound, and then personalizing to individual taste.
Allan's craft has been both his living and passion for many years. Having started playing classical and folk music at an early age, as well as completing a degree in Music Education, Allan had a passion for quality instruments. While working in the Facility of Music as the resident instrument craftsman at the University of Western Ontario, he opened a shop in his home which became Allan's Violins.
Throughout the years, he has and continues to attend various international professional workshops in restorations and violin making.With this Heritage, our team's goal is to provide musicians with top quality instruments at an excellent value and with a personalized touch.
